That’s great and all, but it sounds like you might just be conceding he may not really be champion-level.
At the exact same fight count in their careers, Chimaev was an absolute wrecking machine.
Maybe it’s unfair to try to make Bo the American Chimaev, but If that’s the case, then he simply shouldn’t even be in the UFC at this point in his career. Or at least not on the main cards of PPV events.

to be honest when nickal announced his entry into mma this is exactly the kind of fight i saw coming. it’s not like we haven’t seen this before out of top echelon wrestlers making the straight into big orgs.
Opponent is coming off two major losses, was never a big name, and is obviously falling off the map and will get more losses than wins in the future, because that’s where he’s at now

All these grown men mad at Bo because Dana spotlights him. Bo is doing exactly what he should be doing right now. If you’re mad he’s working on his mic work at the same time he’s working on his striking I’m not sure what to tell you.
Be mad at the UFC for not building Bo on free cards
Bo was throwing huge overhands with the intent of finishing the fight. Absolutely nothing wrong with his performance.

Hard to say anything about Nickal, he is wrestler with over hand right? He is lucky ufc lacks anything with striking capability. You spam same over hand in boxing you getting countered hard, or do that against Poatan

He, to me, did not look like he took it well. Saw him once immediately back up. Paul could and should have pushed.
There was another punch that seemed to stop bo cold. So that showed me some future opportunity for some.

Bo lost me as a hopeful fan with this fight. Terrible fight IQ. When he gets swarmed he looks away and just hopes he doesnt get tagged as he retreats.
