Bo Nickal sucked ass

Bo is so small for 185. I believe Sean Strickland would beat the dog shit out of him. Couldn’t take down or hold him down.

do what u do best…wrestle…not kickbox ( point fight ) against a guy with no standup.have confidence in your ground game Hes a great wrestler very good grappler and should do what he does best …not point fight. like he did with Craig

If that fight ever happens, I will bet you any amount of money you would like on it.

I mean the guy won without any danger and never had to use his most powerful abilites. Not the most exciting win.

Why are coaches out here still just teaching wrestlers to spam an overhand right over and over and over again.

Totally agree with that.

It’s crazy.

Roy Nelson really did well with the overhand right spam, because he had big power and he was 5’11 fighting with 6’7 heavyweight dudes.

But yeah it seems like Bo has been training with Josh Koscheck’s striking coach.

Bo fears Paul.

Coach: we’re going to throw that big overhand right…

Bo: and follow into the takedown?

Coach: no

Craig wants the fight on the ground. It makes sense for Bo to kickbox as he took Craig’s only avenue of winning away. It did not make sense for Craig to oblige him and kickbox the entire time also.

If Craig was more busy he could have won that fight.

Fighting to your opponents weaknesses is far more important than fighting to your own strengths at the higher levels.

If you’re fighting Yoel Romero, I don’t care that you wrestled in highschool.

If you’re fighting Damian Maia, I don’t care that you’re a pretty ok black belt in BJJ.

Ill agree to disagree,He could get KOed thinking hes a kickboxer Showed no confidence in what got him them there,One day ur going to have to fight on ground against a blackbelt .Wasnt impressed with his performance and im a big penn state wrestling fan

If Bo was fighting on the pre-lims or on the undercard of a fight night event, no one would give a shit about how he fights.

The fact that he is being shoved down our throats and hyped as potentially the second-coming just illustrates that this guy isn’t ready for prime-time yet. In a lot of ways, it’s unfair for him to be put in the limelight this early, but then very few people will ever have the opportunity he’s had to learn on-the-job in the UFC.

I think a lot of people, like myself, were expecting to see rapid improvement fight to fight with his pedigree coming in. And now maybe being a little disappointed lol.
