I was so happy for Francis winning against Gane! He left teh UFC on his terms and won!
He also showed us what he is capable of utilizing wrestling.
Even though it had been a few years and had gotten older, he went back to his mma skills and defeated that Renon tall fella!
They should have just let him box like he wanted to and they would still have him in the UFC. Now the PFL have another legit Champion who you can make a strong case that they are actually the best in the world not the current UFC belt holder of that division.
Dana has always been dead set against letting his fighters fight outside of the UFC after seeing Chuck get completely humiliated in Pride against Rampage who wasnât even the best in his own division at the time.
