I think BLOL beats Shavkat standing or grappling

I’m talking about the dirty Muslim terrorist.

Sorry, doesn’t ring a bell mate. No worries I guess this all Muslim fight must twist your knickers.

Double KO?

Has BLOL actually been to Palestine? He flys the flag but speaks perfect English and grew up in Chicago. Does he go to Palestine and hang out with his people?

I think Belal is a higher pedigree fighter but Shavkat has never had a boring fight in his life.

This sort of reminds me of Aldo vs McGregor

Exactly this.

Garry may still beat Belal too.

You know Buckster, I hope this is the case because I want my boy Islam to fight for the WW title, instead of getting hoodwinked by B-LOL… but I’m not convinced it’s going to happen :expressionless:

Unless Ian Machado Garry is some grappling machine who came a breath away from subbing Shavkat and stuffed him over and over again, I think B-LoL is going to grapple fuck him.

Imagine my Islam having to take fights against guys he already beat at LW instead of being able to move up because of Mr Potato Head?

I may be the only one that thinks the only thing really impressive about Shavkat is his record. Yes he had all finishes but from the ones I saw he didn’t look like he was some kind of undefeatable monster like Khamzat. He just seems like a roulette wheel that has landed on red 9 times in a row.

It’s 2024 and still one knows how match ups work…oh, and wasn’t Shaved Kat injured?

I’ll SN bet you OP. I got Shavkhat.

He can do what Anderson Silva did and take interesting match-ups at WW even if it isn’t for the title. Silva did this when Machida was still in contention at LHW.

Stop complaining about Belal and just do it.

And when did Belal start becoming so good? After training with the Dagestani crew? Everyone used to joke about him and now everyone says he’s a strong favorite. When did this happen? Is the WW division really that bad or is Belal actually that good? He never impressed me until his last fight with Leon and, IIRC, many people favored Leon, as did I. But then Leon claimed to not have it together especially with the 5am fight time.

It’ll be interesting to see how both guys perform going forward.

I don’t trust you won’t Welch, I hope I’m wrong and Shavkat wins though

I thought Leon was going to beat him again but he had the fight of his life. If he fights like this again and Shavkat doesn’t improve it doesn’t look good.

This is the first fight Shavkat had since his injury

His last performance was either ring rust from the break he had from the gym

Or

His past injury currently makes him appear “human”

Whatever the odds are for the fight against Belal, the Machado fight has allowed him to properly game plan

IMO the Muhammed camp preparation and fight break down is some of the best in the entire sport

I can see Louis Taylor becoming a hired gun when it comes to game planning

I hope you Shavkat fans are right. I don’t want to see BLOL as champ for much longer.

@TimDuncan
Pre injury… I wouldn’t have wanted to stand across the cage from Shavkat

After watching that last fight, I have. O doubt that Belal has a lot more confidence going into it

Islam fucks up B-Lol with ease

Win or lose I want to see that fight. Islam might not be such a super man when he has to fight a bigger guy. I remember how Khabib struggled against Tibau

Once someone gets a belt, many people start believing they really are the best in the world. Add in that Shavkhat didn’t have a great performance, and it sways people towards Belal.

I’ve always liked Belal in a way because he went out there and grinded out wins and angered everybody over his existence. But I think Shavkhat is better than him provided they are both uninjured.
