The ESPN/disney deal fucked all the fans. They used to stack at least 3-4 cards a year even as they were ramping up the number of shows. But once dana and the top brass got the grubby hands on all that guaranteed money they just decided to water every fucking card down so they wouldn’t have to pay points to more than 1 or at worst 2 fighters per ppv.
Member when Dana used to shit on boxing cards for being top heavy?..
