Mayweather was yelling at him and boom gone.
Money is an awful human being. Heās one of only a few people for whom I hope I get to see have a bad outcome. Also, heās dodged the best fighters his entire career; so his record should have an asterisk.
Fight em early or old
Cafone alert?
Just tuned in⦠there MIGHT be 700 people there.
Is Floyd doing this for free?
Absolutely wrong
That fight was terrible. I donāt even understand what the point was? Did anyone want to see these two box in the first place???
That may be the first time I have seen a referee switched out in between rounds though. That was more interesting than the fight.
who won?
LOL. Nice.
What is silver champion? Letās go Hovhanisyan!
Yeah, very wrong.
Guys career is stellar.
If you believe the he picked fights based on them being too green or past it, then you are looking at it with very rose tinted glasses.
Canelo had 42 wins when they fought, lost and then went on an unbelievable run after that, him not being ready is stupid.
Pacquiao beat Bradley, vargas, mattyse, broner and thurman after he lost to mayweather. Far from done.
Mayweathers style of boxing wasnt for everyone but hes one of the best to ever do it.
Nope, Floyd is one of the best to ever do it, even if you donāt like him personally
They pull this shit with the Manny fight saying Floyd got him when he was old but Floyd is 2 years older than Manny?
Itās not the years, itās the miles. Floyd was so defensively sound, he did not take much punishment as he clearly acknowledges. Pacquiao was an offensive dynamo. He had some wars with very tough opponents who were more suited to fighting than boxing. Morales, Barerra and Marquez to name a few. I donāt think anyone denies they fought past their respective bests. There was avoidance by both sides for very obvious reasons (it really boils down to a simple financial equation). It was more profitable for both sides to dangle the fight and stay on a roll by fighting 2-3 lesser opponents than it was to fight each other and risk losing. Arum and Leonard Ellerbe both knew it.
Floyd is the most misunderstood or maybe most misdiagnosed career Iāve ever seen except maybe Mike Tyson. People either generally dismiss him as a runner who fought old fighters or they overinflate him as the best boxer to ever but on gloves. He was a truly great champion, but he just doesnāt have a better resume (or ability) than some of the greatest old timers in the rich history of boxing.
Im going to say misunderstood, mayweather is the best defensive boxer of all time for me. Some of the shit he did in his career was amazing - canelo fight shows a lot of it, canelo said it was like fighting a ghost.
Tyson was a great boxer and what he did coming through as an 18 year old i dont think we will ever see again. Bad management and a prison stint derailed his career, and he folded any time he came up against a solid opponent after that. He is a what could have been, great career but could have been the goat. Weāll never know.
I try not to measure against other generations as lots of things change, training techniques, rules etcā¦
Mayweather beat all comers (castillo, maybe not) and he did it whilst taking minimal damage.
I love pac, and 8 weight world champ is an incredible achievement. I just dont think any version of him beats mayweather.
The one guy i think really could have caused mayweather problems is paul williams, who mayweather also alledgedly ducked (fight made no financial sense).
I was a huge Pac-man fan, and I think youāre correct. However, the public got robbed of seeing a far superior version of him fight Mayweather because the fight could never come together. I really expected that fight to look be close like Mayweather-Maidana 1.
