Dana referred to him in the past at the UFC 308 presser. That actually stood out and must have stung if he watched it. Someone asked about going to new different countries, and his reply included a reference to Conor something to the effect _“look what Conor did for Ireland”._ The way he said it sounded like he was talking about some past star from yesteryear. edit: here’s the quote. If Connor just stfu and disappeared for a year, people would be interested in the mystery of his potential return. Especially in a fun, feature type matchup. Similar to Rhonda. But since he keeps trying to copy Floyd by staying in the public consciousness, people are sick of him. The difference is Floyd does interesting things and Connor just does exactly what you’d expect and it’s predictable and disappointing. ---
