He hasn’t been convicted of any sexual assault and the evidence is that he’s a piece of shit husband as far as I can tell.
There were 2 people involved, where is the other guy in this civil case?
Who actually was the one who, if it happened at all, hit her?
Was there consent that got revoked retroactively or contemporaneously as the encounter progressed?
I don’t know the answer to any of this and if you all want to convict him in your mind, go ahead.
I still think he’s a pile of shit, but electing for money over charges is piece of shit behavior as well…

Yup and a lot of other scenarios can be true too. Maybe the other guy stuck around and beat her up. Maybe she did it to herself. Maybe Conor did everything she said.
A civil court case for money is not the way to get me on her side and this wreaks of a money grab.
I treat criminal accusations as though they are important and how I’d like people to view any leveled against me, innocent until PROVEN guilty.

I don’t have a dog in this fight, it’s believable that he raped her and it’s believable that he didn’t, just seems like we live in a weird world now where rape is dealt with in civil courts or on twitter.

Yes, there was a full blown criminal investigation at the time. The incident took place in 2018 and 3 years later in 2021 the prosecutors decided not to purse it further which has led to this civil trial. Apparently “lack of evidence” in the criminal proceedings. Basically two against one, Conor and his wing man vs her testimony that it was consensual. Call 1-800-CONOR for Tampax insertion services.
