Lol
Drakes burner account.
This is pretty much my style. I used to get booed in NAGA!
He’s an Olympic wrestler that got carried like a toddler. He might want to sit this one out.
No one pays to watch naga ppv’s so it’s a big difference
I was rooting for Merab. He should have finished him though
He didn’t even try to finish him
This.
Im not the biggest Khabib fan in the world, but he actually would try and ground and pound (even though the damage was overrated by commentators) and he had good submissions that he would eventually work towards.
Merab didnt do anything dangerous or injurious to Sean. Sean’s face looked the same coming in as it did going out.
I don’t like the Khabib is individual (due to all the Islamic stuff) but he was one of the most destructive fighters there ever has been. He enjoyed making you suffer, he enjoyed breaking you mentally and physically.
I’ve been saying for years, mma gyms and coaches are the biggest joke and definitely overpaid.
Sean’s corner had absolutely ZERO idea on what to do when the game plan wasn’t working. You should have an ABC gameplan in place and it shows O’Malley didn’t have much ring IQ to adapt.
Things he could have done
- lateral movement was gone by 2nd round, Sean was looking for the lucky punch/ knee up the middle (that was the only game plane they had)
- Moving side to side, using front kicks to set up a question mark kick
- Sean was winning the kicking range and should have used more right head kicks to keep Merab honest from coming in wildly
They also seem to know zero about strength and conditioning.
merab has the heavy EPO cardio
I feel like he could have. Suga has good Jiu Jitsu but when you are that skinny it is a liability
Should have side stepped, bro.
Very hard to shoot in when the guy is constantly moving side to side, back and forth.
Sean was flat footed and moving in a straight line.
OGism
He needs to trane the sprawl for six months.
You have been listening to too much Rogan and DC…
If you have energy to talk shit, you could be fighting harder. He only had 2 ko/tko in his entire UFC run.
He defiantly had effective ground and pound but “most destructive fighters ever” is laughable.
6 years?
I like all the guys here who would have turned around a losing fighter with their 1 minute words of wisdom.
