I had enough interest to start looking for which way to watch it, but when I saw it was a PPV I just laughed. There is such MMA market saturation in 2024, you really need to build a promotion into doing big, consistent ratings before even thinking about PPV.

I think its over for Ngannou. That fight sold because of Fury, he did better than expected so he got one more payday while being exposed. Cant draw a dime in his mma league. Boxing experiment over. Save your money Francis or youll wind up back in that mud hut with your momma.

PFL needs to do free events to the point where people are going “you watching the PFL event on TV tonight”.

At that point, people will know who the fighters are.

If they were trying to test the waters and see how much name recognition Ngannou has outside of the UFC promotional machine, they just got their answer.
