He went on to have a solid career but I think you could still argue that he was never quite the same.
Up until he won the Chuck rematch, most thought he was absolutely done at the highest levels too. I have great memories of that fight.

Gary Goodrich almost murdered a Japanese guy in the ring in Pride. The guy had long hair and every time Gary landed a shot the guys hair would poof outward like in a cartoon. At one point, the guy was on his knees trying to take Goodrich down and Gary kind of
Just backed away and the fight was stopped.
Also, every fight Daijiro Matsui was in. I swear that guy must have Owen the Yakuza billions for the beatings he took in the Pride ring.

I thought he killed Joe Schilling in Bellator.
I know heās been focusing on K1 but whatever happened to MMA for the āJapanese Musketeerā?
Thou heās up there in age if he were to stick around in MMA and maybe get to PFL a few years back we could have seen a lot more he was a busy fighter.
His Bellator run was insanely entertaining and picked up wins over the likes of A.J Matthews,
Ralek Gracie and Schilling.
Lost to Manhoef and Chidi Bang Bang his run was very fun wish it went longer.
Hisaki would take care of Schilling again in KB.
