Why do refs always step in to let people get up? Iā€™ve never understood that. Itā€™s like some weird insertion of ā€˜sportsmanshipā€™ rule that shouldnā€™t exist. Should be perfectly acceptable to soccer kick the ribs in that scenario. Or pounce on someone lazily getting up.
