True but the buck stops there for Merab. Umar will have a huge psychological advantage after Merabs whoops O’Malley again because they both know Merab is shook and not overly confident about Umar.
The UFC would only do this because O’Malley is their first choice as champ from a promotional pov. Merab will be forced to fight Umar after because Umar is their second choice and they hate Merab.
