DC must have been filling in for Cejudo.
Jones might be the michael jordan of MMA. It will take time to tell though. It could be that Jones is just the best of a generation and someone surpasses him only time will tell though. He is on that track though.
But he doesnt transcend the sport into pop culture the way jordan did.

I think it’s a 50/50. He hates Jon, he hates Jon beat him. And Jon brought up his family, and when Jon originally did it, he did it with very broad strokes and if you know DC’s history he lost his girlfriend and their child to a drunk driver. I doubt Jon even knew about it but DC is hyper private about his family.
Add to that Jon had repeatedly tried to act like he’s DC’s friend and then buried him 10 min later for yrs.

The first fight was close and nobody was ever in trouble.
The second fight was very close up until the kick – and one might even argue DC had a slight edge.
We will never know if Jones lands that kick with that timing off of PEDS.
