I watched the UFC 305 Press Conference the other day. It went perfectly normal with nothing out of the ordinary, until about 3 minutes before it ended. Dricus asked Israel if he will “take his servants” if he were to win the belt and travel around the world with it. Israel then proceeded to lose his mind and started yelling at Dricus, similar to the way that Michael Chiesa screamed at Kevin Lee when he mentioned his mom. Given that everyone knows I’m a massive Stylebender fan, I am a bit concerned about this. I’ve never seen Israel react this way, he is always calm even when trash talking, and generally excels in this sort of setting. Start the video at about 20 minutes:
I watched it with my wife and explained that I’m a bit worried for Israel. She said it sounds like he is on a spiritual journey. If you listen to the part where Izzy says “I took my shoes off and paid respect, you stood there and tried to mad dog me”…it sounds like Izzy feels disrespected due to the fact that he is fighting for something bigger than himself, and Dricus is fighting for a belt and paycheck. I just hope this doesn’t affect his performance, as he is usually superior at mental warfare.
No idea if it’s spiritual but he definitely has made a mountain out of a molehill. Honestly, Dricus has never said anything bad and adesanya just seems to be triggered by him. Adesanya looks very fit but after that outburst I think he’s struggling with no longer wanting to fight and hating this entire process. Pure guess on my part.
Izzy had 7.9 billion kids who idolize him watching after ddp won the title and he got in the ring with the cameras on him and proceeded to call a white african “the n word” repeatedly.
He doesnt seem like a good person to me. He also seems emotionally unstable.
I noticed his finger length in one of his interviews a while back, maybe Rogan, not sure. It’s not just long arms but the dude is like Edward Scissorhands. I’ve never seen anything like it. Weird how he never developed an eye poking problem like Jones, almost like he’s just not a cheater.
His little gay dog video, gay humping simulation on Costa or whoever it was, I’m actually not a fan of his entire public personality, great fighter though.
He’s done and I’m glad, general fkng cringe. Crying at a press conference, what’s he so mad about? He can’t stand the fact Dricus can claim being African.
