Jake Paul is betting big that Mike Tyson will make it to their big pro boxing event on Friday, November 15th.
Paul vs. Tyson was originally supposed to go down in July, but the fight was postponed after Tyson was wheeled off a plane due to a medical emergency. The official story is that Tyson had an ulcer, but worries remain high because, well, heās a 58-year-old man with a lot of mileage on him.
According to Jake Paul, though, thereās no back-up plan in place in case Tyson has any issues.
āI donāt have concern,ā Paul said in an interview with TMZ Sports. āHeās doing great. Heās super healthy behind the scenes and feeling great. So thatās what weāre focused on, and thereās not a backup currently.ā
Tyson is doing so well, in fact, that many people including former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou are picking him to knock āThe Problem Childā out.
āMike is big and beefy and thick and strong,ā Paul said. āAnd, yeah, Francis actually said that he thinks Mikeās gonna knock me out, which is is is funny. But I do have to be careful in the early rounds, because Mike has that crazy punching power.ā
Paul once again confirmed the fight would be a full tilt fight, not an exhibition sparring match, and heād be going for a knockout.
āOne hundred percent, man,ā he said. āYou know, a pro fight means war, and I donāt take it lightly. You can get seriously hurt or injured in there. So if youāre not in there to go to war, then you should just get out.ā
Paul vs. Tyson goes down on Friday November 15th from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. For those looking to catch it on TV, the fight is set to air for free on Netflix to everyone with a subscription.
If that incident with tyson didnt happen so publicly on a plane they would have just went on with the fight. Theyāll probably be more careful now to let whatever is going on happen behind the scenes.
The fight is a sham.
about as healthy as a 60 year old man can be to take repeated punches to the head
thereās nothing iād like to see more than tyson come out and knock him out in the first but something tells me he wonāt.
not sure what the upside is to paul other than money. he either beats up an old man or loses to one.
Tyson dying in the ring will distract from a stolen election
Lol is there a point to anything he does other than the money?
I think his reputation is important to secure dollars tomorrow. I donāt see how this is worth it. Maybe it is.
Well knocking out tyson wonāt hurt him and yeah getting knocked out hurts his value but also would set up a 100 million dollar payday for rematch if he wanted it.
