BKFC isn’t MMA!
Dumb British fucks
Over the weekend, Conor McGregor made his highly-anticipated return to the ring - but not in the manner in which most his fans would’ve hoped.
The Irishman is one of MMA’s most famous names after rising to stardom within the UFC and attracting millions of fans with his fighting style and lively interviews.
He last entered the Octagon in July 2021, losing to Dustin Poirier in his trilogy bout at UFC 264 and suffering a broken leg - but had been scheduled for a return this year.
Unfortunately for McGregor fans, they’ll have to wait a bit longer for his UFC comeback however they were treated to the Irishman taking on the role of a fight promoter on Saturday night.
McGregor took centre stage throughout the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships in Spain, having become a part owner of the company back in April.

Later on in the night, Franco Tenaglia and Tony Soto took centre stage in the card’s main event, as they battled for the BKFC lightweight title.
After a brutal five-round war, Tenaglia walked away with a majority decision victory but McGregor ensured that both fighters left with something.
In a move that drew shock from fellow co-owner Dave Feldman, McGregor quickly intervened and doubled the purse for both fighters on the night.
‘No, no, no, no,’ McGregor quickly stepped in to say. 'Listen, we are going to do bonuses, yes, for both these gentlemen as well as a multitude of other people that fought on this card.
'What we are going to do for these gentlemen, as well as a bonus, is double their purse. They are getting double pay! That’s damn straight!
‘Well done gentlemen, you are getting double pay and bonuses. Thank you for your service.’
The arena erupted in cheers for after McGregor’s announcement, which certainly would have come as a shock to the other Bare Knuckle chiefs.

McGregor’s annoucnement came as a shock to most including part-owner Dave Feldman
The event came to a swift end after the main event but that didn’t stop McGregor from continuing with his headline-grabbing antics.
The UFC icon was also seen getting up close and personal with a woman on a crowded dance floor at an after-party on Saturday night, while pulling her hair in front of stunned onlookers.
One of whom was his long-time fiancee Dee Devlin who swiftly intervened to prevent McGregor getting himself into further trouble.
The fighter had been tugging the locks of the woman, who was dancing with a UFC-style belt slung over her shoulder, before dancing suggestively next to her while holding a canned beverage and his phone.
Once Devlin inserts herself into the space between the cavorting pair, McGregor steps back and laughs before tapping his fiancee on the back.
Clearly not over his appetite for hair-tousling, the UFC legend yanks his partner’s locks before saying a few words and flashing a beaming grin.
