This was also a year after he won the WGP. Lots of great memories staying up all night to watch those live HDNet fights from Japan.
That era of Reem’s career really was something else. Went into the Lesnar fight and treated it like a sparring session.

Ubereem is one of my all time favorites. Such a great technical striker. If he’d had a chin to go along with that he’d have been damn near unbeatable on his feet.
I’m sure many of you will recall the bar incident where he and Valentino fucked up a bunch of bouncers. I always lol hard thinking about that and I wonder at what point it clicked for those dudes how bad they’d fucked up.
