I didn’t forget.
That was back in the day and most were competitive fights.
Not nearly as egregious.

onepunchJD:When your eyes tell you one thing and the score card disagrees – it means there’s either a problem with the system or the judges interpretation of it.
I know a guy who actually quit watching MMA because of that decision.
To my knowledge he hasn’t watched an event since. That fight will forever be known as “The Robbery”.
A chance to take the belt and ride off into the sunset after one of the greatest careers we have seen…
It was pretty bad.
Any meaningful exchange those 2 ever had, Hendo almost took his head off. The rest of the time was Bisping on his bike.
Put them in a room to fight to the death, and Hendo walks out 100/100 times – and Bisping damn well knows it.
Fuck that decision.
Was lucky enough to attend his last fight in Manchester. Despite cheering for Bisping it was cool as fuck to see Hendo make his final walk to the cage.
It was hilarious that even the old man version of Hendo nearly finished Bisping with a similar sequence to UFC 100. Legend.
Dm me. I dare you to send me your address.

To be fair to Bisping, by that point he only had one working eye…
Probably my favorite fighter all-time. Got to see hendo vs shogun 1 in person. Entire card was amazing.
That was the first 5 round Non Title ppv main event. Remember staying up till 6am watching despite having work at 10am. Was totally worth it, probably my favourite fight of all time. Still bugs me that it wasn’t a draw tho, Shogun having mount for 4mins in the final round should’ve been a 10-8 at least but back then it was 10-9 rounds for everything.

Damn you gonna fight me?
What a legend. Him KO’ing Wandy was arguably the most excited I have ever been watching a fight.
His first fight with Shogun Rua in the UFC was one for the ages. They were out to kill in that fight.
100%. That was an absolute war. Both fights were really.
Wandy never lost at MW in Pride so I think I was just so shocked when Hendo KO’d him. The walk out with the Hulk gloves on was also pretty awesome.

Remember Hendo’s prediction before the fight?
It kind of reminded me of Frank Shamrock’s pre-fight prediction vs Lober.
There was a time during Wandy’s historic run when he was asked who his toughest opponent was.
His response was Dan Henderson, and he said something like “when you fight him you’d better bring your lunch”.
This was prior to the second fight.
Something of a harbinger…
Send me your addy, pussy!
So damn good. What a beast Hendo was. I’m certainly biased based on my name but hands down my favorite fighter of all time.
Nothing wrong with that.
He’s definitely on the short list…
One of the low key greatests. Saw him KO Fedor live at StrikeForce
Man, I forgot what a force Newton was for a fairly short window of time.
His hook was pretty good too
Like one of those kids who played too rough, only in adulthood!
