Not stupid at all, at that point Love was looked at as a future opponent and Lubin had to get in his ass to give him something to think about had they ended up fighting down the road.

I saw Koscheck knock out his sparring partner cold. He walked up to me and asked what happened lol. Most of the guys hated sparring day because he would want 100% like AKA. Why risk an injury or brain trauma before you even fight?
Koscheck like an idiot broke his floating rib prior to the Lawler fight for sparring too hard.
