For me Morell just looked that little bit sharper. I also think he is a little better disciplined than Benavidez coming from the Cuban amateur system and 130 plus amateur fights.
As I’ve said before, it’s just great these two signed up to get it on. Both are avoided guys who chose not to avoid each other.

I thought it was a good stoppage. Taylor was out on his feet & the ref had no way of knowing how many seconds were left on the clock. Chavez could have gotten a few more flush shots off on Taylor & injured him badly.

Exactly how I see it. Rewatching it, the commentators pointed out that Taylor was already bleeding from the mouth by the 2nd round.
It’s such a strange fight - Taylor was easily winning the boxing match but Chavez was beating him to death in the process.
