Tom Apinall has an easy road ahead of him

Aspinall is a good fighter but he’s getting overrated big time by fans. Mostly because they just want to see Jon lose.

If people listened to all of Jon’s post fight presser the fight is going to happen. Jon acknowledges he could lose so he wants to get paid for the risk. He thinks Alex is more deserving because of his star power which I understand because it means more $ for both fighters.

Yes, but Dana has to pay the money. I guess if he was going to do it for someone, it would be Jon. Fingers crossed that they are in negotiations now so we aren’t wait years for a fight.

Yeah, I listened and I cannot hate on Jon for anything he said. He wants to be the best in the world and get paid like the best in the world. I can see Dana will be thinking that if he pays, any fighter could then hold him (the division) hostage and make demands. He does not want that.

I’d be willing to to bet any amount you are comfortable with. that Aspinall will win… Up to 200000 dollars

No Aspinall is the real killer and Jones is the fake POS…

Lol at anyone paying up on that online bet

News flash, fighters in their prime are better than fighters almost retiring. Tom is bigger to boot.

Id favor Tom because he he younger and bigger, I dont think he is more skilled

Throwing Jailton Almeidas name in the hat. He was all over Blaydes until whatever happened happened.

The thing about HW is it’s so thin that fighters rise much faster.

Aspinall’s rise from unknown to contender took about a year. Same with Gane and others. Whereas in strong divisions it’s usually at least 3 years to claw their way up.

This time next year we might be looking at some current random unknown as a serious threat. I’m looking at Danylo Voievodkin (7-0, 24 years old, 6’4" 265) as possibly the next one.

By punching him in the face a lot more than the opposite

The “striking stats” on that fight don’t look very far apart.
So you don’t score grappling/control?
Do you also not score round by round and just judge the fight as a whole?

If so then I’m sure you have a problem with a ton of judges decisions including Jones and many other top fighters.

I love Boxing and Kickboxing but this is Mixed Martial Arts.

Lay n pray isn’t worth shit.

Also your comment about judging the fight as a whole but this being MMA, you ever heard of the greatest fighting company that ever existed? Pride? They judged it by whole.

Also, Bas won off his back. Lay n pray wasn’t rewarded then, and shouldn’t be now. Not when you get punched in the face more than the other guy

OK.
Gane didn’t earn a win that fight though. He fought the champ. Landing 10-15 more strikes shouldn’t earn you the belt, should it? If so then Jones would have multiple losses.

Gane beat Ngannou?!?!?!

He got wrestlefucked by a non-wrestler with one leg!

Its true,his tdd sucks ass

Jones vs Aspinall will be decided by how good Tom is on bottom. He will be in that position at least once in the fight, b/c he will be taken down, imo.
