Unmasking The Insanity Of BJ Penn

"BJ Penn was a superstar in MMA and especially in the UFC. However his downfall was something for the history books. Delusion, crime, brawls, he found himself in close proximity with numerous situations involving the law after he parted ways with the UFC and as of recent he has been on record posting insane conspiracy theories involving the US and Hawaii Governments, the CIA, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, Jake Paul and more. "

Should be good, I hope others enjoy.

But could he achieve any of that on a cold rainy night in Stoke?

Screenshot from the video. I remember him take a lot of shots in the Franky Edgar and Nick Diaz fight.

IIRC: The 2nd Edgar fight was tippy toe BJ.

Is that the one where he ran out of the ring?

It was definitely insane IMHO for BJ to take that really strange stance against Edgar in their trilogy fight.

I’ve always wondered if he got the decision in their 1st fight how different the end of his career might have been.

Always loved BJ but unfortunately hard drugs have been the downfall of many great men.

That was the fight where his knees were locked straight out? WTF was that all about ? I don’t remember the details of the fight but I remember that it looked ridiculous , just inviting leg kicks , offering to chance at offensive striking or wrestling, and severely limiting takedown defense.

Yeah that was one of the strangest things I had seen in an MMA fight.

It was Edgar’s easiest win over Penn in their 3 meetings and he also stopped him for the first time as well.

To this day I still don’t know who came up with that stance and why it wasn’t abandoned when it clearly wasn’t working in the fight.

And mid week in January

Per one of the coaches (Jason Parillos), BJ said sitting down (flat footed) on his punches made him (BJ) too tired, so they went with the straight up style. Sounds like BJ was hard to coach and surrounded by a lot of dick riders.

IIRC: Franky said post fight he felt bad for hitting BJ so many times and had no idea about the tippy toe style.

lol you know it’s bad if your opponent says that he feels bad for hitting you!

Thanks for the article link. According to Parillo Penn claimed a normal Boxing stance was making him too tired WTF?

  • "I wanted him bending his knees. It’s called sitting down on your punch in boxing, and that way you can use your legs to help with your head movement, help with your footwork, help with all this stuff. He just says he doesn’t like that style anymore because it made him too tired.
