Arman Tsarukyan: Khabib has no equal... Islam, GSP, Jones not even close

Scared he could not win without his dad in his corner. Michael Jordan was driven even more after his pops died he’s the goat of all goats

BJ penn has 3 lightweight defenses and a welterweight belt taken from HOF matt hughes (At that moment the best welterweight of all time)

Khabib has 3 lightweight defenses and NO welterweight belt.

It’s not even close.

I’d put GSP, Silva, and Jones above Khabib and that’s before the convo even starts

They accomplished more but they weren’t as good fighters.

Top 5 is easy.

Jones, GDP, Anderson, Mighty Mouse and Fedor.

Jon Jones has 13 title defenses.

Khabib could repeat his career 4 times and still be one defense short of Jon Jones.

Aldo has 7
Shevchanko has 7
Hughes has 7
Nunes has 7
Rousey 6
Jonanna 5
Tito 5

Again even his contemporaneous champions have more.

Adesanya, Volk, Usman all have 5 and arguably cleaned out their division.

Khabib with 3 isn’t anywhere near these people.

Take away his finger in the eyes which he used for offense, defense and transition and chances are someone would have caught him and beat him.

I used to say he was the goat too until someone pointed that out and I rewatched some of his older fights and realized how much he relies on his reach and his fingers in his opponents eyes.

He literally sticks his fingers out with his long reach in a way that means you either eyepoke yourself or allow him to retreat.

Because of this I take him out of the equation.

GSP has the longevity over Khabib. Although Khabib may be superior, we will never know because he only fought one generation of fighters and didn’t stick around long enough.

It’s the same thing as calling Salvador Sanchez the goat. Could have been, but we will never know.

Khabib had to win many times in the UFC to get a title.

How many times did these guys have to win?

Khabib beat non title holder Al Iaquinta for his belt.

Fedor Emelianenko’s longest undefeated streak in mixed martial arts (MMA) was 28 fights, which lasted from 2001 to 2010. During this time, he defeated many of the world’s best heavyweights, including four former UFC champions, one PRIDE champion, and two Olympic medalists. He also won the Pride and WAMMA championships.

How does this help your argument?

Same top 5 I as I had above (Add in Fedor who is outside the UFC)

Top 5 Jones, GSP, Mighty Mouse and GSP.

Once again Khabib is in the holloway neighborhood.

Cuz Tony pulled out the day before the fight.

Cry about it.

Max couldn’t even beat Dustin lol 7 losses,

Khabib hasn’t clearly lost a round and never got scratched.

Name another champ who won his first belt by defeating the no 8 guy in the division (by Decision) .

Khabib would have killed Tony anyway and everyone knows it and its Tony’s fault for not showing up.

Khabib arguably lost to Gleison Tibau.

Winning 30-27 on all three scorecards when you are nowhere near prime at 23 against a juicer in his prime is not arguable.
