The depth of quality in their opponents just isnt there yet. Not compared to other legends. Maybe in 5 years if they actually fight.

I can already list guys like Prime RDA, Charles Oliveira, Sandhagen, Conor, Volkanovski X 2, Poirier X 2, Gaethje, Arman Tsarukyan ect that Khabib, Umar and Islam snuffed, but that doesn’t even consider that Bellator is getting better talent than the UFC at this point because they are not signing a lot of elite Russian talent. The guy who Usman just beat would easily be Top 5 in the UFC.

It is an irrational thing, to doubt the facts that lay bare to the masses.
The record doesn’t lie, the successes speak for themselves.
Did they face cans early in their careers? Yea, but has that translated well into their primes? Has it not allowed them to develop into something special that opponents struggle against. We all know boxing used this formula on their fighters, test them this way, then that. Vs power punchers, speed punchers, counter punchers, brawlers, orthodox and southpaw, short pocket punchers and rangy fighters, and the miriad of combinations of those types. After they are well rounded and proven, they rise to the top.
How is this any different? People hate on Khabib for his record being padded. He still went 13-0 in the toughest MMA org. Islam is 15-1 in the UFC, and the perfect example of why even though a fighter is lower class, you still have to be damn near perfect to never lose like this group has.
I dont get the hate. I read the negativity and just shake my head.
I’ve also won a substantial amount of money betting on this group. A sure thing is a sure thing. You know what is going to happen as much as their opponents when they sign for the fight, but no can defend.

Because Jones by himself has like 17-18 top 10 ranked opponents. Probably 3/4s of them top 5.
GSP has like 21 top 10 ranked opponents but he lost 2 of those fights. Again most of those ranked top 5.
Thats probably more just by themselves than that whole team has.
Rankings don’t mean shit. It’s promotional material that the UFC feed the casual masses because they don’t want all of their champs to be Russian. Many of the best fighters in the world aren’t even in the UFC anymore. Dan fucking Hooker is the current #5 and he would get ruined by Alexander Shabliy who Usman dominated last weekend.
This is why when guys like Khabib, Islam and Umar come over to the UFC they soon become champs and p4p #1.
