Aspinall vs Prime Cain

I think Tom beat Prime Cain, hes too big, he hits too hard and he is well rounded. Cain would try and push him into the cage but I dont know if he holds them there.

Hard call. Cain out boxed JDS and popped right back up from (diverticulitis) Brock Lesnar’s takedowns

I’m saying Cain

Tom Aspinall is like Frank Murr 3.0 IMO

Cain murderizes him.

He looks like him but they fight different

Prime Cain is the actual greatest of all time IMO. The speed, the hands, the power, the durability were simply unmatched. It’s just too bad just his Prime was short lived.

He was always injured so I wouldn’t call him durable

The Devil 2.0 outboxed and broke Big Nogs arm before taking Lesnar’s leg home.

Before the motorcycle accident, Couture and Brock, the talk was about Frank fighting Fedor IIRC.

Bellator 198 was a long time coming

It’s hard to say because we still haven’t seen very much of Aspinall. His fights have been too quick.

Based on what we know about most UK fighters, Cain did have the style to brutalize him. But Aspinall is said to be different, so again, who knows.

Aspinall KO’ing him if it stayed on the feet for any amount of time is the only thing we can be pretty sure about, but I favor Cain until Aspinall shows more.

I probably should have said toughness rather than durability. More in the cage during the fight wise.

What?

His speed was impressive. A lot of guys out match him in those other categories though (Mark Hunt wins all 3). It would be his cardio and pace that gave him the edge with them.

Ah nvm, should have kept scrolling I guess lol.

I agree with all of this. Cain wouldn’t want to trade with Aspinall when he was fresh. Other than that, it’s still a mystery to me. I might favor Tom in round 1?

Really tough to say imho. Aspinall has looked great so far and on paper seems to be about as complete as it gets (size, power, athleticism, presents a serious threat both on the feet and on the ground) but has he beaten anyone as good as JDS, Brock or Bigfoot?

Not Toms fault though. You can only fight whats put in front of you. If Jon wont fight him hes basically just got Gane and Jailton left.
