Yes ducked. He should have fought Aspinall to unify the belt, he opted for a worn out, retired Stipe instead. He 100% ducked Aspinall, just like he ducked Franky.
And negotiations don’t mean shit until he signs on the dotted line, and even if he does sign, it doesn’t change the fact he ducked Tom.

It all depends on whether Jones wants to seriously jeopardize his perfect record for a lot of money or not.
