That was a great championship fight until Rockhold slammed on the gas and never let up, really felt like “when worlds collide”. I’d say most championship fights don’t have that type of feel to them.
Weidman’s cardio also went to shit after that fight. USADA? What was the guy on, EPO?!?!?
Wasn’t Weidman a usada fan? I’m not sure.

Rockhold’s best performance and Weidman looked like a shell of himself in this fight. Could have been due to how good Rockhold was on this night. Fight should have been stopped much earlier. Never got the argument of how the spinning backfist lost Chris this fight. Rockhold was clearly in control before that moment from memory.

One spinning kick changed Chris’s life. He lost enough where he was getting knocked out by any real fighter and the damage got worse.

When he broke Anderson Silva’s leg I was out with some coworkers. Got extremely fucked up. I had to coach one of them that his wife wasn’t gonna leave him
