- wrestle fuck him to decision like Chael Sonnen, Ben Askren, GSP
- Use lateral movement and sidesteps to keep away from the fence
- Initiate the takedowns in the center of the octagon
- Body shots with punches, absolutely no leg kicks unless you get the first takedown or winning the round
- Set up KO in the later rounds with high kicks and hooks

Topuria looks very good but only because he was trained wrestling in Georgia which is close to Khabib’s region. I doubt he has much of a chance but basically the only guys who really stand much more than a one-off punchers chance are guys who grew up with Caucasus style grappling or Russians in general. Usman’s opponent over the weekend was Russian and deadly but even he couldn’t do much of anything.
