I really though Bobby was going to beat Hazmat but I’ll admit that I was wrong. I think DDP can beat Hazmat however. He has more sting on his punches and he is physically stronger and I think just as good of a wrestler as Bobby.
If this fight happens I’ll be placing a wager on Khamzat. DDPs gas tank only matters if he doesn’t get subbed early and I don’t see a world he can stop Khamzats wrestling
Khamzat is scary as fuck. He’s not a fighter or martial artist out there. He’s a legit killer. Guys get called killers and animals all the time and it’s become cliche, but Khamzat has that intensity that no one else brings. He’s not in the octagon, he’s on the battlefield. And he has the best wrestling in the division.
Is Chimaev drug-tested like everyone else? Fighting only in Abu Dhabi makes me think he may have some “advantages” as well.
I think Bo will be a complete bust. If you are that good, you simply don’t take things this slowly at this level.
Bo is getting an unprecedented opportunity to start his MMA career in the UFC and get paid “UFC” money. Which almost any emerging MMA fighter would take. However, with the hype he has coming in, the guy fights too scared, imo. It seems like he’s second guessing what he should be doing. He wants to live up to the hype and that will be his undoing, b/c it will hold his progress back, imo.
If he were on the championship track, he’d look like a white Chimaev out there, but he’s far from it. He’s a sportsman, not a fighter, imo.
Bo basically is beginning his career in the UFC. I think tune up fights is the right move for his career. It’s not like he’s leg humping out there. He’s constantly looking to finish.
I think Bo will be top 5 sooner than later. He is a match up nightmare for a lot of the top guys already.
