Khalil says he won’t take Alex down

Yeah but i truly believe khalil is peaking. I think he’s a killer.

Alex is on a different level. I think this is a very quick finish for him.

Besides Gökhan Saki, but he had next to no MMA experience.

The best MMA striker he’s fought was Dustin Jacoby (Glory vet), Jacoby probably should have won.

He really has no choice but to strike though. He’s probably worse on the ground than Alex is.

He is telling the truth

So… Khalil Round Three?

More like 1 or 2.

Alex has no head movement and stands tall with no chin tuck.

If Kalil is aggressive, I see him getting the KO early.

The longer the fight goes, the better it is for Alex.

Or… Alex could just go in there and chama the fuck out of him. It’s definitely an exciting matchup.

I have a sneaking suspicion this is going to be a better fight than expected by most.

It’s like Chuck VS Wanderlei 3.0

I think Alex is far more skilled than Khalil in the striking department. Although Khalil has improved drastically and is super dangerous, you just can’t replicate years of high level kickboxing experience.

But I’m a big fan of Khalil. I believe he can catch Alex if he isn’t careful. I wonder if Khalil can land any low kicks. Either way I do predict that Alex wins, and that it will be pure violence.

Yes.

This fight is closer than everyone thinks.

AP doesn’t have good head movement and does get hit. He has been knocked out before.

KR is a MT specialist and trains with the best in Thailand

This is classic kickboxing vs MT match up.

I mean, yeah. But at the same time Alex was knocked out by a tested, elite kickboxer.

Khalil isn’t that. But yes he can catch him. Good call on the vintage kickboxing vs MT styles

I predict Khalil crumbles under the pressure.

Those are absurd odds

AP is NOT an %80 favourite. I would say %65 to win is more reasonable.

The smart money is to bet the farm on Khalil who is on a 5 fight win streak, with KO power. AP does get hit and when he does it’s night night.

The odds are completely wrong and you are getting a good price on Khalil

I see the Hill fight replaying. Khalil just isn’t on his level of striking. Alex for the KO late in the first or early in the second round.

First dude that’s capable of wrestling him. Roundtree is not capable so it’s an easy decision for him to not wrestle.

Also anything can happen but it’s funny reading you guys talking about Pereira’s lack of head movement like he hasn’t had much success at the highest level of kickboxing. It’s not like Roundtree is the first aggressive puncher he’s faced lol.

wouldnt it be hilarious if Khalil goes out there and Khabib’s Alex for 5 rounds. Then you watch Dana’s head explode.

  • smaller gloves
  • Khalil darts in with a straight down the pipe in a lot of his fights, closing that distance quickly
  • Khalil reminds me of Melvin manhoef
  • KR is explosive
  • Speed kills and KR looks like the faster but shorter man

AP is the favourite but not by %80.

The odds are wrong.

Manoef was on a different level to him and Alex

I think y’all are both right. Alex has faced way higher level guys in the past and knocked most of them out. His style of defense works for him. He wouldn’t have as much success if he didn’t operate with that stance he has.

At the same time Khalil covers distance well. I don’t know if he’s faster though, because he throws with a lot of power. I feel would need to pressure Alex, or just catch him in an exchange.

We’ll see.
