Fight IQ > Ego
Too bad most of these guys aren’t that bright. First dude to wrestle him gets the belt is my guess.
Alex is getting the royal treatment of handpicked opponents. I hope he’s getting paid well for it.
Alex by sub in the first.
The only good reason to say something like this is if your entire game plan actually was to take him down.
I would think that too but considering Khalil hasn’t even attempted a takedown his entire UFC career, believe him.
Yeah for some reason everyone who fights Alex wants to announce they won’t be attempting takedowns. Seems dumb
It’s so they’ll get scheduled
Alex stands so tall, Kalil comes forward so aggressively…
I’m taking Kalil by a nasty and clean KO.
Agreed.
I think Dricus is a tougher matchup for him than most at 205
Khalil rountree is the royal treatment of handpicked opponents? That guy is a fucking savage!
I know karl roberson isnt a title contender, but what khalil did to him was criminal. It was personal. It was vicious.
Maybe against lower level opponents, but Johnny Walker and Ion KOd him. Also, has Khalil beat a top ten guy? The only one that I could think of that would be close is Smith but he’s washed.
I love Khalil but I think the UFC is doing him a disservice here. You might be saying “he’s fighting for the belt, dumbass”. I know he is. But he has zero wins against a striker anywhere near Alex’s level. Going from Anthony Smith to Pereira is a MASSIVE jump, almost inconceivable. Khalil is a very good striker and can catch Alex but man, I feel it won 1-2 more fights he would be in a better position.
I love Roundtree. I think his story is awesome, and he seems like a good guy. I love watching him fight. He has some nasty finishes, soccer kick to the stomach.
He has not shown up a few times though, and lost to people he definitely should not have. Hoping that does not happen here, and we get a banger. I think it’s very possible for him to get the win.
