Should Alex fight Aspinall?

I think Alex has a good chance of beating Tom. If Tom gets on top early it could be curtains for Alex but I think a longer fight benefits Alex. I can see him chopping Tom down

Sure. Why not?

If Alex wins he will be a 3 division champ. If he loses he just stays at 205. Hopefully he doesn’t get chinny

Nah he’d be tiny compared to true heavies. Being massive is his competitive advantage

I picked tom but i want alex to cripple jones first.

That is the other thing. Jones won’t fight Tom but he would fight Alex imo

From a fans perspective its a pretty big fight, bigger than any of his potential fights at LHW or any fights Tom can have without Jon. So i’d say yes.

From Poatans perspective I guess it depends on how much they’re willing to pay him to take that risk. Because the likely scenario is Tom absolutely steamrolls him. Its such a ridiculous step up in terms of the size and the grappling threat. I would expect several of the guys Tom has beaten to beat Alex too tbh. LHW is just weak right now and Alex has size, strength and power advantages there.

Am a MASSIVE Poatan fan, but Tom would make easy work of him.

Styles make fights, and Tom is a nightmare matchup for Alex in terms of size, ground game, and fight IQ.

Pereira answered this in the ring after his last fight. He has no interest in getting in there with the HWs.

Aspinal is a little taller and a fair bit heavier. And can wrestle.

He’s been teasing it on social media so there’s clear interest on his part.

I would think his chances would be low but it would be an interesting spectacle and would put him on another level if he actually pulled it off.

Sure.Alex seems more likely to do it than Jones would have.

I voted Pereria, but he’s too open early on when there’s still a lot of tension and the other person is fast. Plus nobody has tried to take him down much since nam’
