It was a coverup. My dad told me maybe a decade before he got caught that lance was a cheat. Some french reporters busted him but it got buried. I always figured my dad just didn’t like him because he was better and did stage racing instead of sprint. But low and behold all his rants about him cheating were true years later.

If it’s against their peers in their sport in the era they competed in, then Jones should be there.
So should Donald Bradman in cricket.
Ali is an odd one unless it’s including social impact.
If a fat tub of shit like John Daly can be an all time great then no it’s not a sport. It’s a game like beer pong or some shit that you can be skilled at but it ain’t a sport.

I mean…I’d have a beer or do some blow with him. I just think golf isn’t a sport. It’s walking around a park hitting a little ball into a hole at a leisurely pace. I’d rather they televise miniature golf, the obstacles and little buildings would make it more entertaining.

I think Tiger was better. And I grew up watching Jack and yes one can argue either one. I pick Tiger. And I will tell you why. I believe the overall competition during the Tiger ages was better than during Jacks meaning it is harder to win now then back then
