How do you all feel about late hammer fists when the opponent is clearly knocked out. It’s a cringey aspect of mma that doesn’t get brought up very often. The legendary Hendo bomb dropped on Bisping was a prime example. Francis has some brutal hammer fists while the Ref is running in to end the fight. Derek Lewis also comes to mind.
Its the refs job to stop the fight.

Those are the rules. A couple of those are pretty questionable. The ref is diving in and likely calling an audible stop and kaboom. A little late on a submission tap and everyone loses their mind.

Many of these holds are maybe a second and everyone lost their mind over him holding the submission. Is it his the refs job to stop the fight or is he supposed to know the ref sees the tap and do the gentleman thing and release the submission? Rogan starts counting way before the ref intervenes.

Doesn’t help when you have terrible Refs like Herb who doesn’t know when to stop a fight. The fighters know before Herb does.
