This shit was recorded right by the house we lived in when I was born, and right by my aunt’s
House. She saw Roy outside one day and asked for an autograph, he ran inside and got two of his rap posters and signed them for her. I used to have them somewhere.
I remember we were behind a dude with a built nitrous Sentra racing Roy and his friends on their bikes down Fairfield right by the sheriff’s office back in the early 2000’s. They all used to go tear ass on their bikes and the cops would let them go.

I don’t believe this fight was ever recorded and it happened when they were fookin 13 which is WAY before I was born but all accounts I’ve read say Roy.
The two met as in a 13-year old division bout during the 1982 Sunshine State Games in Gainesville with Jones earning the gold medal over Tarver. Both advanced their resumes as Olympic medalists as Jones won a silver medal in 1988 and Tarver captured bronze in 1996
We know that Silver Roy captured in the Olympics is one of the biggest highway robberies in combat sports history.

He’s got a nice jab that compliments the rest of his arsenal. He will go down as the best fighter to ever live. Jon’s short run at heavyweight will look flawless when Gane beats Aspinall for the title.

That claim is already heavily contested now due to all the asterisks next to his name in a baby sport.

That’s also really fucking stupid thing to say. Sullivan was the last heavyweight champion under the London Prize Ring rules and, without doubt, one of the best (and possibly the greatest of all) under those rules.
This is him fighting Kilrain. Does this resemble modern boxing to you? You are literally comparing two different sports… saying Pelé shouldn’t be considered a great of basketball. You’re clueless.
But as a brainlet you can’t compehend that MMA will most likely evolve to different rules and organizations throughout the upcoming centuries, and by all metrics this guy is a complete bum compared to prime RJJ, as Roy was a vastly superior athlete who fought in a much more evolved version of the sport.
The point being is Jon’s name will be likened to a pioneer of a young sport, and one whose GOAT status is already highly contested due to asterisks next to his soiled name.
It’s not heavily contested. Just by you, a person with no credibility or credentials. No offence. I have none either. Jon is regarded by professional fighters and media as the greatest to ever do it. Even Luke Thomas who doesn’t personally like Jon, who considers the asterisks, see’s him as one of if not the best fighter of all time.
