The Antihero Podcast - Ep 101: Tim Kennedy: The Book Of Lies

Listened to this on my flight to pittsburgh today. Havent followed tim for a few years, read all about how he interfered with the afghan withdrawl while doing photo ops from people who were there.
Crazy how this was a 3 hour podcast exposing all his lies in only a few chapters of the book.

I have no military background and even I was chucking at how inconsistent Tim’s book was.

In for later. Him on Jocko’s podcast talking about steroids it was obvious he was lying big time.

What did he say? He didn’t take them?

Makes me think his story about trying to commit suicide by swimming into the ocean is probably bullshit too.

Yes but much more intensely about not needing them because of his work ethic and the guys that need them are lazy or something like that. It’s been a couple of years but just made me instantly realize this guy is a compulsive liar.

Another thing he said in that episode really bothered me.

A guy he was in combat with was killed and the guys wife said something while she was in pain mourning and Tim got all pissy at her.

I thought man how big of a baby can he be to react that way at a women mourning the death of her husband. He’s a sick person.

I went into that episode thinking he was a patriot, a badass and an American hero. And I left that episode thinking this guy is an egomaniac asshole (that I definitely want on my side in a fight).

Tim had 1 fight in the USADA era and he performed like dog shit and then retired.

Probably would have used you as a bullet magnet and then raging at your missus for crying.

Became suspicious of this guy when he started talking about daily carrrying a Five-Seven so he could take down mass shooters with body armor LOL

I never understood the love for this guy. Him “hunting down Nazis” was comical.

I don’t think there’s really anything wrong with his tall tales. I can see getting mad if you served in some special ops capacity but I just look at him like G.I. Joe. I don’t think it’s terrible for someone to get kids interested in being a badass in the military. He may not be all the things he claims to be, but he may very well spark the brain of a teenager who ends up being all those things.

I get why people don’t like him though, I just don’t really care.

Say what you will about Tim Kennedy but if you need to end the life of a helpless third world peasant with no military training there’s no better man for the job.

I think there is truth to Hitler making it to Argentina. Years back I had an uber driver that was originally from the town where they say Hitler migrated to. She was a sweet old lady, and did missionary work - I dont think she would lie about it. I asked her if she ever saw him, she said no, but everyone there knows he was there.

Not surprising at all. I’ve never liked this guy.

Even though he admits he is not a fan of McPhee as a person , He also says he is basically the ultimate warrior.

Tim Kennedy is an anti-2A fudd.

Did you watch the video? They talk about him inspiring kids to join and then try to do the ridiculous hollywood bullshit Tim put in the book. The hollywood BS will get you killed according to the hosts. If Tim had just said what actually happened it would be a great story. He lies so much in this book you have to question every single thing he has ever said.

There’s thousands of guys better. Tim was a nobody. He was only Ranger tabbed. Awesome but nowhere near the tip of the spear.

I’ve never liked him. He’s a liar and was just using his service to become famous. Very Navy Seal like
