Also recently grilled Stipe for calling him a bitch, then turned around and called Tom an asshole for pursuing a title fight.
Which is what a person holding an interim belt should be doing.

I donāt think he has that many fans at all. Simply people are tired of Jones cheating.
I used to be a Jones evangelist until I saw proof of his eyepokes and his entire offense, defense and transitions predicated on eyepokes and the scumbag even eyepokes Machida on the ground.
I hate the UFC more than I love the UFC and one of the things I hate most is allowing and rewarding things such as eyepokes and nutshots amongst other things.

Imagine if he does it in the Stipe fight and actually gets a point taken off, lol. That would be even more unlikely than Stipe winning.

Go back and re-watch his fights ā and tell me his fingers splayed in his opponents eyes doesnt allow him to get the advantage every time heās on defense.
My theory is, without that technique he likely would have been clipped at somepoint.
We all know fighters can turn from killer to going on a huge losing streak after one loss and losing their confidence.
So with Jones, I now give him a huge what if asteriks. Because just like Khabib stopping fighting early, Jones cheated his way to victory whenever necessary. So for me, I cant include him amongst the GOATS anymore.

Jon has been eye poking almost since his UFC debut and nobody said he was āduckingā because of that, since that doesnāt really make sense. The ducking meme is completely due to Aspinall fans cheering on their flavor of the month they think will beat Jon Jones.
