Yes, he did it off a kick too as the set up. It is super high level stuff. Jon should be fighting the other HW contenders and not a retired Stipe he knows he was going to beat up.

Ithink there is a small chance that Jones really will fight Tom and is constucing a game plan or body type for him. Jones is like batman in his preparation and might be playing mind games with him.
He might make Tom fight Alex so he can take some damamge and he can look for more weaknesses. Tom has been impressive but he hasnt fought anyone very skilled or smart yet. Pavlo and curtis have low fight IQ. Volkov was probably his best victory and I think Jones beats him too

Anyone who says Jones is afraid of Aspinall is out of your gourde. I’m not a huge Jones fan but he eats people. He’s playing mental warfare with Tom and the UFC. He wants a bigger payday, and as far as Tom he’s making him feel insignificant not acknowledging him.
Love him or hate him, Jones is the best we have seen. I used to think Gus beat him, but I rewatched it a year ago and I can see why Jones won.
